JG Hauliers (Pty) Ltd is an established Local and Long Distance Transport and Warehouse Storage Facilitator with a long-term vision, knowledge and business experience covering areas of logistics, storage and transportation. The Directors having worked within the freight industry for many years, witnessing the increasing demand for quality service providers, the idea of a well-managed personalized transportation company was conceptualized in 1998.
Our aim is to create an environment that promotes a diversified, representative, competitive and healthy arrangement thereby contributing towards economic growth, efficiency, affordability, and accessible services. Our philosophy is based on the promise to be productive, creative, adaptable, and efficient without any compromises, with confidentiality, and focused on customer satisfaction.
Our winning formula is the ownership of a well-maintained fleet, proper staff training, installation of tracking and 24-hour monitoring devices, acquisition of adequate Goods in Transit (GIT) cover of R 500 000.00, and cellphone and radio communication with drivers is maintained at all times.
JG Hauliers has proven over the past 25 years to be a sustainable logistics company in South Africa. More recently, the company has grown from 17 trucks to over 80 trucks in order to accommodate for the demand and to provide a better service to our clients.
Our vehicle of choice is MAN, Volvo and Scania. After experimenting with other makes we are confident in saying that our trucks are the most reliable and thus trustworthy on the road
Equipment
Based in Isipingo, Durban, we are close to Durban Harbour, all major depots, ie, SACD, Grindrod JJ, and MSC.
We have an excellent, well-maintained fleet of the following vehicles:

25 Horses with 40-cube side tipper trailers
3 (8-ton) forklifts
1 (4-ton) forklift
2 (16-ton) forklifts
1 (25-ton) Krone crane forklift
2 (32-ton) Krone crane forklift
Breakbulk and Container handling facilities
2 (30 ton) overhead gantry
1 (45-ton) reach stacker
Our services offer an 8000m Warehouse used for the unpacking and storage of our clients’ various cargo import containers from Durban Harbour.
All cargo received is quality inspected by our Warehouse Manager before being unpacked from the containers, any damages or irregularities are reported to our clients immediately.
Vehicles are fitted with Netstar Vigil tracking facilities and 24-hour monitoring by Emote, which enables the Operations Manager and Operations Controllers to track all movements of the vehicles. Drivers are equipped with cellphones for better communication and all safety equipment necessary (ie, Safety boots, vests, helmets, and goggles). Every vehicle is equipped with uprights, tarps, nets, straps, chains, and satans, ensuring our flexibility to load the various cargo requirements of our clients.
We have several subcontractors who subcontract to us when we have an influx of cargo to transport within a limited time, and to maintain our flexibility and service standards to our clients.

Maintain, operate and service our fleet of vehicles and equipment in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Health and Safety hazards and Environmental impacts identification shall be undertaken in order to reduce overall impacts and possible risks to our employees and the environment. We undertake to reduce our global footprint by minimizing pollution and by protecting our natural resources.
All employees and contractors are adequately trained in Health, Environmental, Safety, and Quality aspects. Employees will be encouraged to take responsibility for their own health and safety, and are to report any type of situation that may be unsafe or harmful.
We will remain continuously committed to the principles of Responsible Care and reporting on progress. SHEQ performance, covering all aspects of our business activities, shall be monitored and measured on an ongoing basis. Annual objectives and targets are set and achievements regularly reviewed in meetings held by management.
